Gisella has a bachelor’s degree from Providence College and a certificate in Advanced Management from the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. Her professional experience covers the areas of economic development, finance, accounting, taxation, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Gisella is currently the Interim Executive Director for Small Business and Corporate Financing for the City of Boston Planning Department.
At the City of Boston, she manages the agency's small business loan program, Boston Local Development Corporation (BLDC) and tax-exempt financing program, Boston Industrial Development Financing Authority (BIDFA). In her role, she utilizes her expertise in financial analysis, small business underwriting, personal and small business income tax and community network building.
