In 1989, he co-founded Laboratoires Farmatrix S.A., a Haitian pharmaceutical manufacturing company that began operations with just three employees and two products. Today, Farmatrix employs more than 150 people and markets a portfolio of over 60 products. The company operates in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards and remains committed to strengthening local pharmaceutical manufacturing in Haiti.

He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baruch College in New York and an MBA from the University of Miami. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. Edmond served as President of the National Association of Pharmaceutical Distributors. He currently serves as President of the Board of the Chambre de Commerce et d’Industrie de l’Ouest (CCIO), where he advocates for a stronger, more competitive Haitian private sector and increased investment in national production.
Beyond his business activities, Mr. Edmond has maintained a longstanding commitment to youth and sports. A dedicated karate practitioner, he has served as an instructor with the Haitian National Karate Team. He is also a frequent speaker at conferences and forums for young entrepreneurs, where he shares his experience in entrepreneurship, leadership, resilience, and business development in Haiti.
